Party for the Planet is Acterra’s largest community-building event and a critical fundraiser that benefits Acterra’s environmental programs. Acterra is a Bay Area 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings people together to create local solutions for a healthy planet. We focus on what you can do locally to address current environmental problems.

This year's Party for the Planet will be on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 6pm at San Mateo County History Museum in Redwood City. This memorable evening includes live and silent auctions, a raise-your-paddle opportunity called “Fund a Future”, locally-grown sustainable cuisine, dinner, dancing, and private museum exhibit access. Join the Party for the Planet host committee. NEW perks this year for being part of the host committee:

  • Leadership Circle — $3,000: 10 tickets to the event and access to a special VIP reception at 5 pm with a docent-led private tour through the museum

  • Partner Circle — $1,500: 4 preferred tickets to the event and and access to a special VIP reception at 5 pm with a docent-led private tour through the museum

  • Supporter Circle — $750: 2 tickets to the event and and access to a special VIP reception at 5 pm with a docent-led private tour through the museum

Volunteer to help plan Party for the Planet. The volunteer planning team helps with invitations, auction, and decor/venue. Time involvement for each task ranges from just two meetings to more involved bi-weekly tasks. If you would like to volunteer, email nicole.chitty@acterra.org
