Climate Action in Sunnyvale.

The City of Sunnyvale is updating its Climate Action Plan (CAP 2.0) and we want your input!

How might we empower Sunnyvale to become a carbon-neutral community by changing….

  • How we power our buildings?
  • How we get around?
  • How we conserve and consume resources?
  • How we learn from and use technology?
CAP 2.0 mtg.jpg

Acterra, DNV GL, and OpenIDEO convened a community workshop of more than 150 people in March 2018 to discuss these questions.

Visit the Innovate Climate Action in Sunnyvale challenge platform at ideo.to/sunnyvale to see more than 100 inspired community-generated ideas for helping to create a climate-neutral Sunnyvale. The City will incorporate the best ideas into the new Climate Action Plan 2.0, now in development.  We will be hosting a public feedback meeting on the plan in fall 2018. Stay tuned for details!
