Saturday, October 6th
10:00 am - Noon: FREE Workshop on Solar Energy Basics
-Get the most out of the Tour with an overview of how photovoltaic (PV) and solar hot water systems work and the economics of installing one at your home.
11:30 am - 2:00 pm: Vendor Fair
- Meet with local solar energy providers to determine what system is right for your home or business.
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Palo Alto Solar Homes Tour

This self-guided tour offers a variety of both PV and solar hot water systems. Talk with residents and learn what motivated them to switch to solar energy.
Tour Tickets: $10 per person in advance, $15 on the day of the tour. The Solar Energy Basics Workshop is full. Please check onsite for last minute cancellations.

Registration Packet: Maps, home descriptions, and solar energy Resource Guide will be given out at check-in.
On-site registration: $15 on the day of the Tour.
Pre-registration is now closed. Please purchase tour tickets on Saturday at Palo Alto City Hall Plaza.
Northern California Solar Energy Association is providing a free copy of the Solar Energy Resource Guide (a $5 value) to all tour participants. In addition, NorCal Solar will send a free sample issue of their electronic newsletter to all registrants at either the free workshop or the tour.
