Acterra can provide individual consulting for a variety of restoration, landscaping and green gardening needs.

Restoration/Landscape Design

Acterra has extensive experience in removing invasive weeds and re-vegetating with native plants from our Native Plant Nursery as part of our restoration work, and we have leveraged this experience for private individuals and businesses. We specialize in landscape design using native plants that are found in the San Francisco Bay Area and are appropriate for a specific site. From our experience, we find that locally native plants are well adapted for our soil and climate so that they are more successful and provide important habitat for our local birds and insects. Acterra has provided consulting services for homeowners, businesses and local cities and towns.

Services Include:
  • Site visits
  • Creation of plant palette and layout
  • Plant identification and management plans
  • Custom seed collection for site-specific plants

Acterra’s landscape consulting rates are charged on an hourly basis. Please contact Alex Von Feldt at alexv*acterra.org for more information.
