The Barron Park Donkeys have been loved by generations of children and adults since 1936. A volunteer group of Donkey handlers provides all the necessary care, and feeding. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of food and farrier and vet bills.
The Citizens Environmental Council (CEC) of Burlingame is a grassroots non-profit organization whose mission is to champion a more environmentally and economically sustainable community. CEC provides leadership in local green efforts and an educational resource for residents, businesses and institutions. Join us and make a difference!
City Trees is a volunteer group that promotes and supports urban forestry efforts in Redwood City. City Trees works with the Redwood City Public Works Department to plant and maintain trees along Redwood City's streets, at schools, and on other publicly owned property.

We make climate projection data applicable and accessible at local and regional scales, providing analysis, interpretation, and integration as needed.
Exploring a Sense of Place encourages people to explore and come into relationship with the place where they live. Through our Exploring a Sense of Place guidebook, leadership training workshops and local courses, we offer the opportunity for people to create new patterns in their lives by making themselves available to experience, be imprinted by, and become more intimate with the natural ecosystem in which they live their lives. The Midtown Community Organic Garden, located in Palo Alto, is a community oasis behind the Midtown shopping area. In addition to providing a place for local people to grow their own food, it is a pleasant place for neighbors to walk through and get respite from the surrounding built environment. The land is leased for a small amount from a private landowner.
MPGStickers.org is a non-profit initiative working to accelerate the adoption of fuel-efficient vehicles in the U.S. By displaying MPG sticker on fuel-efficient cars, we can make fuel efficiency an important value, and encourage more drivers to switch.
