The Barron Park Donkeys have been loved by generations of children and adults since 1936. A volunteer group of Donkey handlers provides all the necessary care, and feeding. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of food and farrier and vet bills.
The California Clean Tech Open accelerates the creation of clean technology companies within California through: an annual business competition, workshops and mentoring for clean technology entrepreneurs, a sustainability guidebook for start-ups, and a variety of clean technology events open to the public.
City Trees is a volunteer group that promotes and supports urban forestry efforts in Redwood City. City Trees works with the Redwood City Public Works Department to plant and maintain trees along Redwood City's streets, at schools, and on other publicly owned property.

TerraVert is a non-profit online service with a mission to assist teachers in meeting new environmental content standards by incorporating renewable energy concepts into their classrooms. TerraVert provides hands-on experiments and simulations on renewable energy and resources to teachers with a focus on the San Francisco Bay area.
Wave One is assisting 250 or more Palo Alto businesses as they complete a series of environmental accomplishments that include reducing their use of energy and water by not less than 20%, implementing best practices for waste stream management, and generating renewable energy. Wave One will document existing conditions and will measure and verify cost effective measures undertaken by each Palo Alto business.
