Be the Change will be on hiatus for a year. Although there remains a critical need for this program, we will be taking this opportunity to retool the curriculum and raise funds.

Be the Change Curriculum
The Be the Change program focuses on developing skills in 5 key areas, culminating in an individual or group project where participants can apply these skills.
Curriculum
- Environmental Information: Become familiar with Bay Area ecology, our region’s critical environmental issues and basic concepts ecology.
- Visionary Leadership: Learn how to inspire and engage others in creating solutions that balance ecology, social equity and the economy.
- Networking: Meet and learn from fellow participants as well as visionary leaders in business, government, media, environmental advocacy and ecological restoration.
- People and Project Management: Build your skills in motivating others, managing conflict, public speaking, meeting facilitation and campaign organizing.
- Practical Applications: Design and initiate individual or small group projects and receive mentoring from an outstanding group of experienced advisors.
