Ellen is the creator and director of ACTerraGreen. Prior to this role, she was the Coordinator of Acterra's Library & Resource Center, also managing the Environmental Forum series and Family Movie Nights. After starting her career as a relational database engineer, she served as the Communications Director for Software Tool & Die, the nation's first Internet Service Provider, and then worked as a communications consultant. Throughout most of her professional career Ms. Wilkinson managed a variety of business and technical communications projects for a wide variety of local and international clients including 3Com Corporation, Symyx Technologies, and the Santa Clara County Dept of Public Health. As a volunteer, Ellen managed an annual fundraising and community-building event for Peninsula School in Menlo Park. Her interests include photography, genealogy, hiking and all things related to Greece. Ellen has a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Mass Communications from Boston University and is currently working on her M.S in Environmental Studies at San Jose State.
