We never sell or trade your personal info. That's a promise.
We collect names and contact info on sign-in sheets at events and workdays. We do this in order to keep track of how many volunteers we are mobilizing per year, and also so we can keep you informed of future events. This info will never be shared with anyone.
We mail our newsletter three times per year to paid members. We occasionally send invitations, fliers, postcards, and other items to inform members of upcoming events. If you'd like to receive no mail from us via post, let us know:
Don't send me your newsletter. Just send special event notices.
Do not send me any mail at all.
We rarely bother our members by phone, unless there is a very urgent matter. For example, if your membership has expired and we haven't been able to reach you any other way, we would call you to see if you'd like to renew. We occasionally muster volunteers via phone, if they've previously indicated to us their willingness to volunteer.
You can request to be removed from our email list at any time. This will take place within 1 to 2 weeks.
If you choose to be removed from all the methods above, we will be left with no way to contact you ever. If you're a member of Acterra, we'll need to inform you at least once a year that your membership is about to expire, so we will still send you a letter at that time.
