Pesticides and Playgrounds: Chemicals in our Children’s Everyday Environment

Learn how to protect your family from the harmful effect of pesticides and other chemicals. Charlotte Brody of Commonweal, Renee Sharp from the Environmental Working Group, and Susan Kegley of Pesticide Action Network will share some tips and tools you can use when shopping, cleaning – and talking with school administrators.
These free programs are part of a series co-sponsored with Planned Parenthood Mar Monte and the Reproductive Health Technologies Project.

Full Moon Hike with Joe Jordan on the Pearson-Arastradero Preserve

May 20th, 6:30-9:30 pm

Join the Acterra Stewardship Program for a moonlit hike on the Preserve with Astronomer, Joe Jordan. Please bring a small flashlight, hiking shoes and a jacket. The hike will be less than a mile each way. This event is appropriate for ages 6 and up.

Dessert and beverages will be served after the hike. $20 per person. RSVP is required.

We have a limit of 40 people so please sign up soon!
