Volunteers complete a two-part training on two Monday evenings at a location in Palo Alto. Trained Green@Home volunteers give free home energy audits that help residents save energy, save money and reduce their CO2 emissions. Green@Home offers free home energy audits to residents in Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Redwood City and Sunnyvale. Sign up is required. No experience is necessary. Acterra’s Green@Home program, in partnership with the City of Sunnyvale is distributing flyers announcing its free HouseCall home energy savings program for residents of Sunnyvale. Join us at 9am to pick up flyers and maps to distribute. Signing up for a HouseCall saves residents energy, money and CO2. Trained volunteers meet with residents in their homes to install simple energy-saving devices and create home energy conservations plans. Volunteers demonstrate environmentally friendly choices and foster a deeper awareness of the need for change.
