Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is a leader in the lifestyle and

sustainability program, Kimpton EarthCare, ensures that hotel
guests receive the highest level of service and the best quality
amenities while greatly reducing the environmental impact
normally associated with staying in a hotel.
The EarthCare Program was designed for ease of implementation
and tracking across multiple locations, as well as for generating,
measuring, and reporting environmental impact. A sample of
its comprehensive policies include: installing an eco-efficiency
dashboard tracking system, donating partially used toiletries to
local homeless shelters, using reusable laundry bags, recycling
55-75% of their garbage, offering discounted and complimentary
hybrid parking at select hotels, implementing a towel and linen
reuse program, and purchasing local organic coffees, wines,
brews, and food for their mini bars.
Kimpton makes a concerted effort to ensure that the principles
of the EarthCare Program are visible and well-received by all of
its stakeholders. Employees on all levels have provided
