Earth Bound Homes' designs and projects routinely beat the most
stringent energy efficiency codes in the nation,California's Title 24,
by 30-53%. Their projects incorporate building materials that are
salvaged,durable, sustainable, energy efficient, and contain
recycled content. A minimum of 80% of the building materials'
waste generated at their sites is either salvaged or recycled.Their
model home is about to be certified the greenest home in
California by Build it Green's Green Point Rating System in part
through its use of Structurally Insulated Panel (SIP) walls and roof,
FSC certified wood framing and flooring, salvaged windows and
doors, recycled redwood trim throughout, a passive solar design,
tankless water heaters, and engineered water distribution systems.
