Cleaire Advanced Emission Controls provides a portfolio of emission control products that are embraced by California businesses and enable immediate improvements in air quality.

The company has developed a catalytic converter for diesel engines that reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by 25% and particulate matter emissions by 85%. Their system is the only one verified by the California Air Resources Board to reduce both emissions.

The product has been installed in a variety of diesel vehicles, including 120 Caltrans service trucks, and an ongoing program will retrofit over 1,700 Bay Area transit buses with this technology by 2006.
